"Sequins" is a glittery, fun, whimsical web series that chronicles the sometimes humorous, often uncomfortable, and always authentic adventures of Lucy. Lucy is a young woman who moves out of her childhood home in the lovely suburb of Cerritos to the mean streets of Los Angeles. The series is a romantic comedy with original musical sequences.
Sheila Tejada has starred in numerous films, stage productions, and commercials. Recently, she was the female lead in the independent comedy feature, "Driving While Black" (dir. Paul Sapiano). She was reviewed as a "stand out performer" by Broadway World for her recent performance in "Wild Songs and Naked Souls" (dir. Gloria Gifford) and was nominated by the Madrid International Film Festival as Best Supporting Actress for her role in the short, "Vena Amoris" (dir. Armando Hermosilla).
Jesseal Amelia is a producer at Tiny But Mighty Films, working on the web series "Sequins" where she is also starring. Originally a Kansas City, MO native, Jesseal moved to Chicago to pursue her dream in the entertainment industry. Jesseal graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in film and theatre. After graduation, she was accepted into CCC's prestigious "Semester in Los Angeles" producing program. She is also a classically trained pianist as well as an accomplished dancer, having performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, President Obama's first inauguration, and the Rose Bowl Parade.
A graduate of The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Dale Fabrigar has directed several award-winning film, shorts and pilots. His latest independent feature film Lonely Boy was critically acclaimed at many notable film festivals across the country.
